As President of the Zeta Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, I am honored to welcome you to our fraternity. Founded back in September of 1967, our chapter has since established itself as the one of the leading professional fraternities among the members of the University at Albany community. As one of the largest co-ed business fraternities in the United States, our chapter focuses on the development of intellectual, business-minded professionals and fostering a cohesive community within the University at Albany’s School of Business.

With over 50 years of history, our chapter has developed an extensive, distinguished alumni network of lifelong brotherhood that expands across the nation. Its strong emphasis on a culture of mentorship allows every brother to strive for excellence in both the academic and professional fields. This emphasis has allowed our chapter to cultivate and strengthen some of the brightest individuals on campus and prepare us for success in the professional world.

Since joining Delta Sigma Pi, I am absolutely proud of the accomplishments we have achieved, not just as a chapter, but as individuals as well. The Zeta Psi chapter takes great pride on its 100% job placement seen in the past few years, as it is a difficult feat to reach. Brothers in our chapter have been placed at some of the most prestigious firms and organizations throughout the industries of accounting, finance, marketing, and technology.

Every semester, we host professional events with firms of different industries to allow brothers and students in the School of Business to learn more about each firm’s core values as well as meet one on one with recruiters. We also host different events each semester. Every Fall semester, we work alongside the University at Albany’s Office of Career & Professional Development to host a career fair that brings in over 130 employers. We even host an Etiquette Dinner in an effort to help students in our community learn how to dine in a professional setting. As for each Spring semester, we host the DSP Open, an annual golf tournament between brothers, alumni, and recruiters, in which we raise money to contribute to the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship offered to University at Albany students.

Becoming a brother of Delta Sigma Pi will develop college students into extraordinary, accomplished business professionals through numerous workshops, professional events, and community service events. But, most importantly, by joining Delta Sigma Pi, you are not simply “joining a fraternity.” Instead, you are joining our family.
